whiskers. They slow the bow down a couple of feet but nothing silences like them.

I don't use a press for whisker install either and they work great. Monkey tails tend to slide from time to time from I've seen. But just like most things archery related its a lot of preference from the archer. Heres how my whiskers look. I tie these without use of a press

Night and day difference between monkey tails and 1 1/4" whisker balls on my drenalin. With the whiskers, a 440gr arrow, and dead end, my bow is absolutely dead silent and dead in the hand.

Thx. I havent shot the hoyts yet, but leaning hard towards a zxt. Will put whiskers on there.
