50 years for stealing Fajitas?!

I hate a theif as much as the next guy. I understand what he did was a felony by stealing $1 million worth of fajitas over 10 years. But a 50 year sentence for stealing fajitas??? Rapists, murderers, and pedophiles sometimes get less.

Harsh but it's more about the money, not the fajitas. Obviously very frowned upon for a public servant to steal $1.2 million dollars from the state and tax payers. I would assume the punishment would be the same if the mayor, Police Chief or any other public servant stole that much cash but who knows.
