Ice chest/hunting box truck rack

Don't want to pull a trailer back and forth to kansas so I am going to maximize my bed space. I started building this rack today. I think its going to work out well. This is what I have so far.

X 2. Heck of an idea. Brings back bad memories of me, my son and FIL going/coming from the lease looking like the Beverly Hillbillies with all the crap we had piled in the back of the truck..... Something like your building would have helped us a lot. Cant wait to see how it turns out.

Nice job.They do come in handy.I built this for my 2011 dodge.Doubles as a High Track platform.We use this rack every time we go down to Thompsons hunting.Holds about 500 lbs so far.Believe it or not....no center vertical support.
