I set it on my spare tire on my jeep and figured I lost it on FS204 but there is a chance it could have made it that far. I passed thru that area later in the day. I had a big thread on the SHNF Facebook group. Can provide a picture of it on my bag with my Lee Enfield.
Hey OP is this the item that was found?

        Not a Garmin

I'm friends with the OP and I notified him of your post and he said that it was not a GPS.

I lost a Gunwerks LR 1000 rifle in 28 Nosler with a Nightforce NXS 5.5-20 x 50 scope, a Thunderbeast supressor and an Atlas bipod, all nicely packed away in a Pelican hard sided case, right in the middle of the road.

I'm hoping that's what you found

Might as well let us know what you lucked into

Don't look like anyone is going to claim it

Not this. I might charge a nightforce fee to return that 1 tho...

Don't really want to say yet. I'm posting around some other places looking for the owner. It's a nice find but I'd be sick if I lost mine & whoever found it didn't make an honest effort to return it.

I found a Mathews bow a few years ago. Tracked the owner down via bow SN.

                      He was relieved !

                            Good on you for trying

If it has a serial number 12ring's experience might work

                              Wasn't a drone.

Working the serial number route but no luck so far.
