Other brands as in Swaro or high end zeiss? Maybe not. But they will hold their own to a similar retail priced scope. I own two others and am pleased. I had a similar power Nikon monarch and it was junk compared to this scope

Depends on what you are comparing them to... they aren't gonna be a Leupy or Swaro but for the price you will have a hard time beating them

Personally I think they are on Par with a Leupold VX-3. Anything higher than that then the Leupold will be better.

$269 plus tax for the one I just bought. Rings are backordered though. As luck would have it, I sighted in a new AR Saturday and the scope wouldn't hold zero. I had decided on the Vortex but was balking at $500 all week. From what I hear, no questions asked warranty.
