$145 more than a trued Remington. Add in fluted bolt and oversize knob and that would be more than $145. Coming out ahead. Very nice, could have used this action a few months ago. Lol.

The Ed Brown design is great. Funny thing is I ordered one from Trop a couple weeks ago and had it shipped to APR for a .416 build not knowing this was in the works. I had Robert look at it when I was there and asked him if he had used one for a build and he then retrieved one of his new actions! Haaa.
I have a couple Ed Browns and a LAW .375. I, as well as all PHs I know, prefer the 3 position safety on a safari rifle, but switched out the safety on the green Ed Brown .340 Weatherby. For a hunting rifle I can't see using another action, especially for the price, and am glad to see this development. I think this will be a home run!Attached FilesComment
