I’m going to go check out Alamo card house tonight. It’s got the best reviews based on what I’ve heard.

Had a very good experience. The 1/2 played like a 2/5. Made $500 profit in 4 hour session. Had an armed security escort me to my truck. I will go back.

I’ve played at both SA cardhouse and Alamo... SA is by far my favorite.

It was not a “country club” crowd by any means, but everyone was respectful. There were about 20 tables in the room. There was a tournament going on in the back and about 6-8 cash game tables going. Each table was either full or at least had 7 players.

I will have to check that one out as well. It would be a little closer to my house too.

From my brief experience, the players and dealers are nicer at SA. It’s also closer to my house and in a much nicer part of town.

You'll like SA card house. It's much nicer. The 1-2 usually plays like a 2-5. Good win! I use to play all the house games and these card houses have been really nice

Glad to SA card house is nice, definitely going to hit it up soon.

I hear people say "plays like a 2-5" all the time... by this I assume you mean 15-20 to enter a hand. I find this pretty typical of a mature 1-3 table. Fresh tables will play a little more 1-3ey.

Correct, average preflop raise is 12-20 usually. Majority of time it's always good action. Lots of bad players but also some good good players.
