I love tamarind it's one of my favorite woods... Not crazy about the file work, not that yours looks bad I just hate to do it, to me it severs absolutely no purpose but buyers like it. I had to do some today for a custom ONLY because the customer requested on part of the handle. To me file work on the spine in front of the handle takes away from the structural integrity of a blade and I won't unless I void my lifetime warranty.
