so yesterday im at academy, at the gun counter waiting for one of the guys to bring out a fishing pole they were holding. There is a customer next to me that brought in his AR and is working with an employee. From what i overheard, it sounded like he was having issues sighting it in and the employee was trying to figure it out. I looked over...looked like a basic 1-4 scope.... let them continue the conversation until i couldnt take it anymore....finally had to lean over and say...."hey man, your scope is on backwards" to which the employee says "oh ya, and that could be an issue too"

Yeah, it was a misleading title. They are non-existent.

As a former Academy manager I can agree with this. Not possible to hire pros for $9/hour part time.

They were very clear with me about not bringing a gun back if I had issues. I think there was even a sign, lol

I've worked PT at two different Academys...it's scary sometimes just how little the folks giving advice actually know.
