Default 6.5x55 Powders

Rifle hasnít showed up yet, but itís on the way. Looking to go ahead and get some powder, so thought Iíd see what seems to be the favorite powder for this cartridge.

Iíve got some 140 Berger VLDs and some 143 Hornady ELDX to fling

I'm shooting a 6.5CM. Since I can't find H4350 which seems to be an excellent powder choice, I've been running IMR Enduron 4451 with good results.

H4350 is good stuff, as well as RL 19 & RL 22

I’ve got 4lbs of H4350. I could try. Was looking into the RL powders as well.

My go-to powder for 6.5x55 is RL22 but have also had good results with IMR4831 and 7828ssc.

Default Sleepy....

what rifle did you order? I'm waiting on my Barrett Fieldcraft to arrive, myself.
I'm going to load the 130 Swift Sirocco and the 130 gr. Accubond. I'm thinking about RL 17, 22, IMR 4350 and IMR 4831 look pretty good.
