Default Strange colored doe

Anyone ever seen a deer this color before? She's tan all the way up to her neck

The color has a dramatic change right in front of the shoulders from the tan to the natural grey/tan I am used to seeing. Never seen a deer with this color before. Sorry for the bad pic. She's 230 yards away.

Looks like the typical color of deer in the summer. Maybe she never grew a winter coat or shed early

Looks melanistic. I've seen some with dark faces and darp stripes down their neck and back. Some are dark all over, but some just have dark face and neck.

I was hunting down in Webb county a couple of weeks ago and saw a doe that was just opposite. Dark body and really tan neck and head. I wished I would have taken a picture of it now. Strange for sure!
