I think it's pretty much healed. Sore from working. And I tried to deep hook it a few shots after today. No good. But I'm just glad I can shoot again.

Gary,

Glad to hear you are healing up! Pretty good shooting.

I should quit lurking here and participate in this challenge...to quote Pink Floyd, "I sentence you to be exposed among your peers! Tear down the wall!"

Lol.

Going to print out the sheet and post this morning. I'm way behind.

Okay. I think we can all agree that the 2" circle was not in peril from my shooting today. I was thinking, heck, I shoot 1" circles all day long. How hard could it be to hit the 2" spot?

#1 barely hit the 18"x16" target box o' clothes

#2 Above the box in the hay

#3 Finally on the letter-size paper.

#4 An inch or so high

#5 Two inches low/right.

So, no chicken dinner here: 5 * 1/2" = 2 1/2"

# After warming up a bit, I'm still mostly high with a flyer left.

On a lighter note, I did move my yarn puff silencers closer to the limb tips for a good gain in the quietness factor. Thanks for that advice, Rick, and thanks for putting up the challenge.

Todd

Thanks Bro.
I'm getting into a groove with this bow.
As much as I hate building arrows, that's what I've been doing today.
I've decided to ditch the helical for a straight right offset, which will give me just a tad more fletching clearance at pass. Every little bit helps.

I'm going to call myself out, and call on next up.

So far, Phillip has a 7" grand total.

Anyone lower than that?

Rick

Unless someone jumps in here to beat 7", and gets it posted before midnight,
I'm calling on Phillip Fields to call our shot for next week.

I took my shot just i was running out the door to a scout function but got the measurement and pic just now. It's an inch even off the edge.
Gives me 4&1/16" if my math is correct. Not great but not bad.

Nope. Lowest total, and mine is thrown out, because I didn't follow the rules.

You've got the call, unless someone beats your 4-1/16" before midnight.
Deal with it.
