QAD makes a rest for Hoyt that mounts up nicely and eliminates the need for the set screw. I probably install a QAD on 70% of the new bows I sell, whether its a Hoyt, Mathews or BowTech. There are other good rest out there, but the QAD HDX is one of the top for sure.

I had a Hoyt Alphamax 32 and had the Rip Cord on there. Looked sweet and functioned great too. The ONLY drawback to the Rip Cord is if you draw and have to let down, the rest comes back down too. Also if you need to repair the string that attaches to the buss cable that raises and lowers the rest, you have to send it off, whereas with the QAD you can do it yourself.
