    The "eat ur heart out Bob salsa" :)

    Easy....
    Onions, jalps, tomatoes, garlic, cilantro and salt. I just use the amt I like. Put all over open flames and char till black. Put in blender and blend all together. Serve!!! Yummo!

              fire roasted salsa ROCKS!!!

              wonder if I could smoke some maters, onions, jalepenos, garlic, etc on the bbq pit on higher heat...

              I feel a memorial weekend project coming on...

                          Burntorange...I'll bite...how do you make the consistancy better? I agree with you in that it does make a difference in salsa of any kind. I have my own concoction and I use the "pulse" button on a food processor because I did not care for the consistency that was created using a blender.

                          My goal is to imitate the Casa Ole salsa recipe and it has a "creamy" texture that cannot be achieved with a blender.

                          Please share your technique / secret.
