M R same as this one maybe. Baby Texas Rat Snake. Harmless and good to have around unless you have chickens. When they get big they will swallow the eggs or eat the baby chicks. Put them in a barn somewhere and there won't be any rats or mice before long.

The guy that incubated them for me owns a pet/snake store in my area and is considered a snake expert. Coachwhips were just his first guess by looking at them but his wife said black racers. She knows her snakes too so I'll leave it to them to decide for sure but when I googled juvenile black racers I got some images that match these exactly. They have extremely skinny tails and will shake them like a rattler. They also like to strike alot.

Update, 10 out of 12 have hatched so two were duds. Official report is they are black racers.
