It's at the Abilene Bowhunters range that is southwest of Buffalo Gap (which is south of Abilene) on FM 89 across the road from Lake Abilene. Go here and click on "Directions to Range": http://www.abilenebowhunters.org/

As far as a TBH get together, how about Saturday afternoon at the range? Just hang around after shooting ends and visit.

I think they will make sure you are shooting with at least one person that isn't in your group anyway - to make sure a group of buddies don't cheat for each other on the scorecards. I plan to just show up and shoot with whoever they tell me to shoot with. If you are there Saturday morning, maybe we'll end up in the same group.

Everything is coming together nicely for our first time hosting two major events on the same weekend (17-18 APR). Thanks Brian, Brent, Martin and Ray.....you guys are awesome! Ron and Dwight have been working several items behind the scenes, I appreciate you guys too!

Only hitch is that our mower quit today, but I'm sure we can round up plenty of mowers in time, or a shredder would be nice. Anyone have a shredder and tractor in close proximity??????

We will be hosting an ASA Qualifier http://www.texasasafederation.com/TexasFed.html- and the Lonestar Bowhunter Association Qualifier- http://www.lonestarbowhunter.com/ind...&catid=&catid= .

Please visit each website for particular rules organic to each organization. This will be a perfect opportunity to experience respective organizations and warm up for your preferred organization.

I have been visiting with the chamber or commerce for discount motel rates and should have that information by tomorrow. Upon receipt of the information, it will be posted. The chamber is also donating two "high end" raffle items, one for each organization.

Lonstar Bowhunter Association will shoot the white and yellow ranges.
Start times will be: Rules/Admin Notes - 9:00am, Shotgun start: 9:30am BOTH DAYS. David Stroup and company will be handling the registration for LSBA. I believe ABA will assist on Saturday, as David has an incredible drive to make this shoot.

ASA will shoot the blue range for all 30 targets.
Start Times will be: Rules/Admin Notes - 9:30am, Shotgun Start: 10:00am BOTH DAYS. Mike and Tracy Smith will be handling the ASA side for their registaration.

The "Grillin' Station" will be catering all the concessions, so be sure to try one of their burgers or specialty items. Janie will treat you to one of the finest burgers on the planet.

Host Motel is going to be the "Whitten Inn". They have two locations to support our shoot. Phone number is 1-800-880-7666. Be sure use code: ARCHERY for a discounted rate of $59.99 plus tax
