    Can you freeze it?

I am planning on making a few of batches of strip jerky this weekend.
Since I'm a jerky junkie, I want to have some to take on a hunt later next month.
Can jerky be frozen without affecting the taste or texture?

I think that if you vacuum seal it, it is fine.

I freeze mine after drying. Doesn't affect it that I can tell.

If vacuum packed, I wouldn't think it needed to be frozen. It's cured and dried.

Buckee's , Woodys jerky is all frozen at 1 time or another.
I know because I bought a 1 lb bag that was frozen.

I have frozen before. Will last a long time that way. Also as stated if vacuum sealed it will also save.

I vacuum seal and freeze what we don't immediately eat. Doesn't affect it at all.

I vacuum seal and freeze all the jerky I make. Does just fine. If you want it softer put it in the microwave for a half minute or so. Pretty dang good.
