that's greatness!!

I found a rather large (like 100 gun) safe in the woods while investigating a home burglary. Apparently the crooks were wore out after carrying it 100 yards or so and covered it with limbs and I guess come back to it. Once I located it I got the owner and we went out and opened it to get the cash and jewelry out. We left it unlocked with a 'gotcha!" note inside for them to find

hum.... may take you up on it before long. I have almost all the concrete gone from the top plate. If it doesn't come out, may have a bottom plate, then I will take you up or buy dynamite.

Well folks I am sorry to say but this may have a crappy ending finished removing the concrete from the top plate and it will not budge. Must be a bottom plate as well.

Use a feeler guage to slide around the "jamb" to find where the pins are, and mark them. Use a cutoff wheel to cut into the outer rim on each side of each pin.....then do below...

Start jacking....don't forget PPE, and a long jack handle.

Cut a 2 inch section out of the outside lip with your cut off wheel...rotate the center piece till one of the bolts is visible, cut it off, rotate and repeat till all three have been cut, lift lid out.

Cutting slot from the outside is the hardest part, I have removed 2 of those from old house remodels but they were empty..

If everyone who posted donated $1 to the cause for each post, OP could have afforded that locksmith to come out already. GoFundMe not a bad idea at this point.

Cut the flange off with a cut off disk or torch so you will have less concrete to chisel out.

Get small funnel and fill previous hole with gun powder and place a fuse in it. Light and run, the safe will be open and contents might still be salvageable.

This was expected, even if there is no bottom ring the concrete is bonded to the sides of the safe.

Keep chipping!
