Default New Stick

Was able to get a new longbow from my buddy Paul Cleland up in Colorado. Sucker knew I was looking at a three piece longbow to add to the stable of recurves, so he put it in my hand and said to “just go shoot it.” Bad idea! 62” with 50# @ 28” that I draw a bit past 30”. This is a lightweight draw for me, but I think I like it. We’ll see how she does against the elk of Wyoming coming up on September 15th.

Very nice. You'll enjoy carrying that bow in the mountains. Get yourself a belt hook for hanging it while glassing.
We're thinking early fall up here, bugling will start before we know it.
