It's time to win. Down year for Big 12 QBs. No excuses.

Let's go Horns.

9-3 to 10-2.

Herman's got to show some improvement this year. Horns need a true QB leader. 8-4 minimum-10-2 at best.

Go Texas

Kingsbury announced that the TTU starting QB role will be will decided by a triathlon of sorts. The events, Indian Leg wrestling, arm wrestling and a thumb war. Leg wrestling results will be weighted as a component of 10 because the QB’s ability to scramble for his life is twice as important as the QB’s ability to heave the ball downfield. Thumb war was weighted as a 3 because it gave KK and new OC Johns adequate time to pull a play from the hat on 3rd and long situations.

Here is to being rated 2nd to last in the Big12!

I'm ready for Fall Camp to begin. Unfortunately it will be a while longer on fall temperatures. That being said it should be fun to see what Jimbo can bring to the table. While it has been exciting to watch him recruit the 2018 class (short notice) and now the 2019 kids, I will tap the brakes so to speak with on the field success this upcoming season. I'm sticking with 7-5 regular season and 8-5 with a meaningless bowl game win. I think the opportunity to pick up an additional win exists on the schedule but I am not expecting a miracle in season one. Gig Em and keep it going 3* Jimbo!

I look forward to seeing what the PWO's do. Specifically the 3* LB/DE Legacy, Luke Brockermeyer whom is a very similar mold to one, Breckyn Hager.

Texas had several fairly intriguing kids join the squad as walk ons, another being a little RB that I figured would have gone to Princeton in Jarrett Smith and another prospect at slot that has already been getting talked up in, Travis West.

Every kid/transfer made it in, lost one to transfer in Edwin Freeman and lost one to Medical in Mikey Grandy.

I hope they have a healthy Fall Camp.

Football practice is better than basketball and the crap the Rangers have been putting out on the field sans the last three games.

Tagged to follow.

Gig 'em Aggies.

Just happy that I'll be able to watch Aggie football this year without cussing and wondering WT# is Sumlin thinking. That guy couldn't be gone soon enough.

Oh and still hoping for an upset to hit the 8 win mark to cover the bet I made in Vegas two weeks ago. First time I've ever bet on sports.

It should also be interesting to see how many of the 6 top 25 nationally ranked defensive backs Texas hauled in using the net in 2018, will make some noise in the defensive back field. There are many roles to be played in the Orlando system with up to 5 on the field at any given time.

Hoping for an 8 win season this year but 7 wouldn't surprise me. Would be a nice year considering an all new coaching staff plus our difficult schedule. Would like to see the team improve throughout the year which was never the case under Sumlin without Johnny.

It seems they have plans to play these guys in different roles, itís going to be fun to watch and the new redshirt rules will really help with this. I think you will see some coaches get creative and really take advantage of this.

I think the new red shirt rule and how it is applied may be the biggest thing to watch this year.

Hard to keep kids ranked that high nationally off the field. They will also be prone to mistakes too. The new redshirt rule will be fun to watch play out.

The Texas defense kept 5 of the most prolific offenses in check in 2017, I expect more of the same.

Espn FPI thinks 5-1, but they also think 10-2.

Iím still looking more realistically at 8-9 wins plus a bowl win.

2-1 to 3-0 OOC

Texas/OU is a wild card. TCU has owned Texas. Iíd split them. 1-1.

Iíll take Texas over KSU.

4-2

Heís reaching media saturation elsewhere so I guess he deserves it here as well.

Quite possibly the most eccentric player on the 40 since... ever?

Heís not cutting his hair till they win the Big XII. He wants fellow Westlake alum Sam Ehlinger to do the honors on the field at AT&T Stadium.

He says, ďevery time I hear the tower ding my time is running outĒ.

One thing is for certain, this kid is going to give it his best.
