Default Iwb

What holster do you use? I just got my LTC and i purchased an alien gear iwb a couple weeks ago. I haven't made up my mind if i like it or not lol. I just purchased a kydex holster off of amazon. Just looking for different options. I'm kinda new to holsters.

Stealth gear vent core is the best I’ve seen and used. I love mine.

Much much much better built. I had an alien gear. The belt clips are a big improvement.

I started out with an Alien gear but settled on Bravo Torsion IWB.

Since you already have it, try changing them out. The stealthgear is expensive. My brother had one so I got to try it before buying.

There are about 100,000 different hybrid type holsters out there, and everyone that owns a particular brand will tell you theirs is the best. They’re all just variations on a common theme.

Alien Gear, Black Arch, Crossbreed, Vedder, Galco, etc.

I carry a shield in an Alien Gear and don’t have any problems. Granted, that is a lightweight pistol.

I went from a crossbreed super tuck, to a TT Gunleather XC Slim to a vedder light tuck. I carry OWB now, but the vedder light tick was by far and away the most comfortable IWB for me.

Me too, for an IWB. For the last year or so though, I've gotten real fond of an OWB pancake style from Don Hume. Hides well enough under an untucked T shirt. When I was still working, nothing beat the N82 Professional.

I just bought a new gun belt from Amazon. My old one wore out after about 5/6 years. The new one has a stainless steel liner. Very stiff, but does NOT sag at all, even when it's not cinched really tight. I think I'm gonna like it !

liking the kydex Tulster rt now. Very simular to vedder light tuck but just seems a little more comfy for some reason.

Is there anything that you donít like about it? How concealable is it with a tucked-in shirt?

I was just fixing to ask about this one. How well does the magnet hold? Does it move around? What model do you have? I was looking at the original and the high ride holster.

Iíve got the original and love it!! Magnet is super strong on it. I can wear it all day no problem. I like it because itís easy to pull the holster out when Iím getting in the truck, and then slap it right back on when I get out. You can wear it with anything too since you donít have to have a belt. I use it all the time with gym shorts! Highly recommend it. I heard about it from several guys at work so I got one and Iím happy that I did!

I purchased a Sticky holster and have been very happy with it carrying my Kahr. Not sure I’d want to carry a larger pistol without some type of clips for retention.

Even after losing 20lbs from cancer I still have "love handles" and generally prefer OWB because of that. I am always on the search for an IWB I like though, so I will check some mentioned in this thread.

Everybody that has carried for any length of time has a few holsters lying around. We need a holster "clearing house" so that folks can try before they buy !

I have the JM4 Tactical Relic - best holster I have ever owned - carrying a Kimber Micro 9. Won't ever carry any other for any of my guns.

Bahahahahaha zero point zero dollars, Iíve just used a lot of different holsters for IWB...Iíve used a galco gun leather, custom kydex, and several others. The JM4 is too notch in fit and finish and fits the most comfortable out of all of them Iíve used.

Love handles help you conceal as you get older! I use a cheap Tulster on the hip and never print with a G43 +2 extension. I have several more expensive holsters and they never leave the house. The only time a carry a full size weapon is when I can get away with OWB with a north face vest.

Check out Fist Holsters. My wife loves the full kydex with slight forward cant, integrated spring steel clip with her G27 and P365. You can use holster with no belt. As stated above check out Vedder holsters. I have the super tuck and like it. It also has steel clip and can use without a belt too. My preferred kydex holsters are made to my specs by a good friend of mine...
