They are actually very similar. His crab claws look like they have opened up.

I canít really say the 2015 buck is the same, but the 2017 and 2018 bucks are dead ringers....

Thatís what I was looking at too. They have the same little twists too. The width between them this year was throwing me off.

15 and 17 maybe but I don't think 18 is. Brows come off much further up the main beam on the 18 deer, that generally doesn't change much year to year from what I have seen.

First two have the higher look rack. ‘18 is much flatter. Sorry, I don’t see the same deer. Brows sit different. And crab claws normally get longer but keep same look. Let’s hope you have two good bucks running around :-)

2018 is different deer. Brows come off the beam higher and beams don't look the same either.

Same buck. Mature this year. Nice 8.

I analyze the data piece of our MLD property each year, for several years in a row now. Some would benefit by analyzing this kind of data to see how much the same deer can evolve over a short period.

It’s not rocket science and it doesn’t require over-analyzing a rack to match one to the prior year.

This could be the same deer, but I don't see it. The typical things that match up each year don't in this case. Main beams do not. Brows don't either other than one is longer than the other. They curve in opposite direction. Either way this deer is either 4.5 or 5.5 this year.

I say different deer between '17 and '18. Brows are completely different and main beam height is different on each.

I think it's the same deer, if so I believe he was around 2.5 in 2015, so that's put him at 5.5 this year!

I also agree with deer looking younger this time of the year.....you may convince me he is 6.5, just not sure about that statement if he actually is he same deer from 2015.
