Anyone ever seen a Heart on the back of a Grasshopper?

I know this is a crazy question, but my wife snapped a picture of this grasshopper at our deer lease in Brownwood. We thought it was the weirdest thing.

So today I google "Grasshopper heart on back" and the only thing I find on this that's related is a picture almost identical to the one we took by someone in Bangs, TX (right next to Brownwood).

Yeah - it was part of him. Might be a certain type of grasshopper? We didn't look at other ones. Maybe they were all like this?
