Thoughts on these two

Only have one pic of the first buck and a few of the second and do not recognize from past seasons. What are your thoughts on age.

The first looks 3.5 to me, maybe 4.5. If he's a straight 6 I'd cull him out ASAP. The second buck looks older than the first in the night pics. I would let him walk another year to see if he gets any better without having any history of him.

I actually saw the first buck before I got the game cam pic. And it took less than a minute to make the call on him. He looked to be 4-1/2 to 5-1/2. 17-3/4" wide. Pics are deceiving.

Congrats. I always like seeing big 6's taken. Unless your place is short on bucks I would take the 8. He isn't likely to get any better just because he gets older. If he's only an 8 now, he'll still be an 8 next year.

I would have said 3.5 on the 6 but he we would have shot him too.

I'm having a hard time judging the 8. I can't tell if he is old or just extremely fat. The loose hide under his chin and pot belly make me think he is fully mature.
