A 5,600 acre pasture south of Aguilares recently came available. This pasture is Walker land,and down the county road from our pasture. We have been leasing from the Walker's for the last 18 years. They are very pleasant to work with for hunting. We have had a good experience. The pasture will be MLD next year. Details are below:

I've hunted the walker land and it really is a great property with good land owners. Spent Christmas down there last year and saw some BRUISERS on the property.

We had power but no water well. To salty, we had to haul water. Used a 500 gallon tank on a trailer and a pump.

That's what we did on our place on the Moody ranch for 30 years... Worked out OK...

I hunted a 10,000 lease on the Walker from 2003-2004.
Lot's of gentle deer. Practically eat from your tailgate feeders.
We pulled a few over 160, but not as many as we'd liked to have seen.
Lot's of 135-140 class.
Outstanding lodge.

Little less than $12/ac sounds reasonable though
