Default DIY Bedframe

Well being a coach/teacher I have a little free time in the summers and my wife takes full advantage of it. I got a picture from her saying that she wanted this.
I start measuring our bed and ordered the metal from my brother at mueller then got to work.
I know Iím not the best welder at all but it should last. Thatís why I grinder the weld so much, they were far from pretty. Just need to put the end caps on and it will be ready to paint. Hopefully it wonít fall through the floor!

Looks good. You weld better than I do.

How are you doing the slats?

I havenít decided if I am going to use the ones that are on our bed frame right now, which is probably going to happen, or go buy some from Home Depot.

I like it. Been looking at making one that is a high platform bed. Want to be able to store hard bow and gun cases underneath.
