looking good! I don't know that he will eclipse last year by much, but he certainly looks like he is packing on a few extra inches in frame size due to mass.

That dude will finish out at every bit of 170 and is a heck of a deer. Dont know how yall hunt yalls place but I would put him off limits for even one more year and kill him at 6.5. He is a GREAT deer.

These pics do not give the taxidermist credit on how good he did on the sheds we found but this is the 170 sheds from this past year. I have new trail cam pics, I will post them in the morning.

You have some skill set to score a south Texas bucks horns in July. Have you ever used trail cams during the offseason?

Looks like he's going to be a little bigger this year. Losing a weak 5 for a couple extra kickers.

Lol..didn't mean to upset you bud

I will admit that he has pushed out more bone than I thought he would based off of that first picture that was posted. Based off that first picture, I would still stand by my statement. However, I was obviously wrong. It isn't the first and won't be the last

OP...he is looking like he will be a stud this year! Good on you!

Lab man, i know what you mean. We have one here in Walker county that looked close to being finished out already before JULY!!! I cant wait to get more pics of him just to see how much hes grown. Hes not a shooter, but compared to the other dink young bucks he hangs with, i get excited.

At first look, he does look about the same or maybe smaller, but he did gain some mass and extra length on some of his tines, have to confirm after he sheds his velvet. I bet he gained a minimum of 5 inches. Hope we find he's sheds, only 5 1/2, maybe 6 1/2 yr old, gonna give him another two years to see what he does.

I hope this works. I believe he has gained some mass and beam length, looks to be the same score as last year. He has injured himself on his front hoof. Seems to be getting around just fine. Keep breading!!! I think hes is 5 this year, but could be 6.

So, this deer weve been watching has had a bad limp, you can see in the past video I posted, it has gotten a lot worse, question is, do we try and harvest him or let him walk, we believe hes only 5.5 this year, been watching him for 3 years. Whats yalls opinion?

Tell Kev to put a bullet in him. Either one of y'all deserve to shoot that deer, would be ashame for him to die and not let someone get to hunt him. Heckuva buck Matt.

Not sure if your selling hunts but if you are I’d try to kill him
If it’s family and friends only killin then I’d let him walk
And if you got to ask you know you want him to walk. Deer are tough. I hope he pulls through.
