Default Disk Cooker Build

Finally got time and good weather to happen on the same day so I got the disk cooker and burner stand built today. I borrowed Dale Mosier's design for the burner stand. Used a 10" Bayou Classic Banjo Burner and 24" plow disk. This joker is solid.

I sold my grill this past spring and have been grilling on the fire box on my smoker. I'm stoked to have the disk to cook on for faster meals.

I'll prime and paint tomorrow but here are some pics and a short video.

That’s nice. I’m guessing that’s 12” pipe

Not to high jack but I have a question about that 10” low pressure burner. If I replace my high pressure with a low do I have to change the regulator

Looks great!

Nothing heats a disc like that 10" burner!

So the burner housing was purchased from academy. I took the legs off and built the stand, then put a bigger burner in it.
