Default Fog, the bane of a hunter

Climbed up into the blind about the same time the fog rolled in. Not going to be a good morning.

Or it could be a really good morning. You could have that buck walk right under you and he would never know you were there.

I love hunting in cool foggy, drizzly weather.

You’ll have to be on top of your scent control game though.

Geez vato...You're not at work and out in the woods. Gotta have a better attitude to expect success.

Fog is doing great for me. Although I have no interest in these 6 doe that keep hanging around smh waiting on one of four targeted bucks to step out. I love fog!

Thanks for all the commrnts I never said I wasn't happy. I am retired and can go hunting pretty much when I want. It is just that I am targeting certain does and fog makes it really hard to tell one from another. Just for the record, I did not turn around and go back to the house. I would rather be out here in the fog than I the house.

Except for the opening weekend and this past weekend we've been fogged out at my place in the mornings. I could hear deer but just couldn't see them lol.

Good luck!

Two bucks in the yard running a doe. Fog didn't bother them! Love foggy mornings.

Fog can be a huge blessing!!! That means NO wind to blow your scent around.

I guess I'm with the OP in the minority, I can't remember a good hunt on foggy mornings. Seems like it would be good but I never seem to have good movement in heavy fog. If the fog breaks early they seem to roll out of bed and get going tho.
