But I dont think taxpayer dollars should be used that much.
After a couple hours it should be easily seen that she was doing a "circus stunt" or gag joke "for entertainment purposes only"

since when do you have to intend to break a law to be guilty of breaking the law? if I accidentally run a red light or stop sign, I didn't intend on doing it but I still get a ticket to pay.

No, only the ATF can destroy a firearm. Even city and state govt's must notify ATF first.Can't kill somebody then cut up the evidence.

I say charge her and let it go to court. Costing her tons in lawyer fees. Yes, the taxpayers will be footing the bill as well, but look at it this way. Maybe, just maybe, it will draw attention to the totality and rediculousness of most of the laws on the books. I doubt it, but there's always hope that it could shut just a few of the idiots up when they actually see how dumb they look to everyone else.
