Queen Donut in Houston off of West 18th and Ella Blvd. They are fantastic.. As Dale says, if it has meat it is a "pig".... at least that is how I have always viewed it......

Feller named Kulhanek told me that, so take it for what it's worth.
You are correct again, sir. they are called klobisniks in West.

Yes Czech Stop makes a decent kolache'. Do yourself a favor and go downtown to the Village Bakery. They are the oldest bakery by far the best in West. Been eating them for almost 33 years.

Prasek’s in Hillje is hard to beat. I really like their Poppy Seed kolache. Almost as good as Grandma’s.

We called the sausage ones klobisniks as well but they were always made with smoked sausage (natural casing) not a hot dog or little smoky.

I'm with you brother. If I want a hot dog, I'll go to James Coney Island.
