Shooting bench and floating dock

I’m a general contractor and over the past few years, haven’t gotten to do much hands on work. It was cool to get an opportunity to get the tools out and go to town on these quick projects. I had a buddy’s help one day and he and another guy helped the second day. Basically, I looked up a couple of pictures online to get an idea how other people had done it, then we went to work.

Yep! Those suckers are everywhere [emoji23].
We had to have it floating for it to be level and it is muddy and slick. Used my wade boots for traction [emoji106]

It’s 10’x10’ and 4 barrels. You can find the barrels on Craigslist for as cheap as $3 each. I think we found these for $10 each

I need to build a dock like this. How did you attach the barrels?
