Firearm Needs to Find Its Owner

It's a long shot but here's the story...

I got on a duck lease and from my understanding one of the members passed away. I did not know him. He had taken a friends firearm in to get it worked on at a gun store that he worked at part time prior to his passing. The gun store has this pistol and doesn't know who it belongs to. If it's yours or know whose it might be shoot me a PM.

          Location/city?

Might try placing an add in the local paper.

I thought gun stores were supposed to have documentation for every firearm in their possession.

I'm not sure about that. The only information they have is the deceased's name.

Can you track down his family?

Yup. I thought that for repairs that would take more than 3 days, a Brady form has to be completed, too.

The gun shop contacted his mom & dad. They reached out to all of the members that were / are on his duck lease.
