    There are a bunch of Kays up there. That's my last name. Vaugh's, Brown, Castell's,
    O Reers, Perminter's ........... you get the idea.

    Both my parents were born on the Sabine river in the 1930's.

        the first ones look young, the last one looks good. Despite plentiful rain across the state, the area didn't get a whole lot of it during "growing" season. We had one like that 6 last season (and one very similar to that spike that is trying to put on a browtine). Even without a whole lot of rain the 6 managed to sprout a little.

          lol, i would call that more than a little!

          The last pic of mine is on the list. The first one I think will get a pass. The spike is on the list.

            no prob. The one last year that at a glance looked to be a spike, but had about 1" +/- browtine is in the 2nd handheld cam pic w/ that 8 pt, but here's a better look at him. He's put on the points, but he is still behind the rest of them in that age class. (one on the right eating @ the feeder)
