FINALLY ABLE TO FINISH COUPLE OF BLIND THAT FELLOW TBHer WANTED I THINK THEY TURNED OUT OK....

Awesome Job! Love the 1/2 door. I have one on one of my stands and some family members complain, I tell them not to hunt it!

front wall: 24" x 78"
side walls: 23.5" x (78") & (76) to calulate for slope of roof
the 23.5" are cut @ 45 degrees

2x2 frame primarily? I am looking to do something like this with an axle on it to make it mobile.

The frame on the blind itself. I was thinking about doing mine using 2x2 lumber instead of 2x4 in order to save weight. I wasn't sure what you framed yours with.

the only 2x4's were used on the base of the blind, the frame work is made from 2x4's that i cut in half to help save on cost.

Look great, but like mentioned above keep paint on them. Ours nvr held up long and would chip/break pretty easy.

I was thinking this too. I bet over the long run the cost of painting these things over and over again will be more than it would have cost to use LP Smart Siding right from the get go and not have to worry about rot.
