SAW on KBTH that she and the family decided no more medical help
and went home with comfort care. She is a very nice lady has always been
well respected Prayers for her and the family

HOUSTON, Tex. (KBTX)- The following statement has been issued by a spokesman for the Bush family:

Following a recent series of hospitalizations, and after consulting her family and doctors, Mrs. Bush, now age 92, has decided not to seek additional medical treatment and will instead focus on comfort care.

It will not surprise those who know her that Barbara Bush has been a rock in the face of her failing health, worrying not for herself — thanks to her abiding faith — but for others. She is surrounded by a family she adores, and appreciates the many kind messages and especially the prayers she is receiving

Classy is the word that comes to mind when her name is mentioned. I can’t say the same for some of the more recent First Ladies.

She's a role model of how first ladies, and ladies in general should be. Her daughter in law, Laura Bush isn't any different, but learned from the best. Prayers for comfort.

Prayers up, I've seen two secret service vehicles parked next to Methodist for the last two weeks. I thought it was the President, her husband, that was back in there.

I heard this on the radio this morning. I admire her for not only the great woman she is, but also for her decision to spend her last days at home instead of in the hospital.
