Here is the quart baggie of 6.8 brass that I have. It's about 2/3 full and looks to all be Hornady. Not sure what it's worth so if you need send me a trade.

Let me get my shop organized as a shop and not a catch all and we might be able to do something about this. 16x20 shop, 20' of workbench, and about 6 square feet of useable space in it right now........

I'm looking too. Thought I might see one here.

I'm looking for a key mod 15" fde.

I'll probably just buy one, but may join the build just to learn a bit more and add my parts.

I was in Primary Arms yesterday and they had some complete uppers on their scratch and dent table marked down cheap. I looked at a Radical Firearms with 15 rail and couldn't find and dings or scratches. $299. I also looked at a Troy that was still wrapped in plastic and couldn't find any flaws on the upper, barrel or rail. They had more but those were the only two I opened and looked at.

They also had a ton of YHM rails on the cabinets where all the sale stuff is for you guys looking for handguards.

In Pearland off Broadway. It's in a little warehouse district on Miller Ranch road. Their storefront is essentially just a pickup counter. You have to order through their website and pay online or at the counter.

Well I got a pistol buffer and shockwave brace from a guy at work. How bout stripped lowers. I have some Easton Axis 400 arrows I am not using that I'd be happy to trade for a stripped lower.

Just worked out a trade with Scorpion King for a lower. All I need now is a LPK, anyone have an extra they're interested in letting go? Have several 30 round metal GI mags and a bunch of 223 I can offer for trade.

That's a good idea. Ultimately I never found it but I learned that True Value hardware stores sell them for 11 each.

First, congrats and welcome to the addiction.

Only two things that need to be done right away. First is a trigger. Search here, there are numerous threads about them. Second is a free floating forearm if it doesn't have one already. If you have an A2 style fixed front sight, you will need another gas block to go with the forearm.

For triggers, I would make a short drive up to Primary Arms in Pearland. They have the bulk of their triggers installed in dummy lowers that you can coon finger and see which one you like for your budget.

Well I got my 10.5" 300blk upper Tuesday, pistol buffer and shockwave brace yesterday and supposed to meet Scorpion King today to get the lower. What was supposed to be just a new upper for my current AR has quickly turned into a full pistol build.

Don't make the mistake of shooting that 10.5" with full power loads without hearing protection. Mine was brutal to shoot until I got the can for it.
