My 17hmr sounds like a 22 subsonic unsupervised.

There's always going to be the crack of the bullet but it doesn't carry like a rifle blast. Have someone shoot while you stand in or behind a barn or garage. It's barely noticeable from just 70 yards away.

I think it depends on your position relative to the Bullet. I have a video of my son shooting my 22-250 AI at 525 yards and you can hear it carrying for a while.

I would post it but Photobucket will have none of that!

Well neither one of them are sporting much energy at all.

        104# vs 89#.

That would only be is the 22LR was shooting subsonics. They both sound almost identical if both are supersonic.

There’s no getting around the supersonic crack of the Bullet. It suppresses the muzzle blast well though.

Supervised guns always behave better lol.

Not sure what you are saying but there is a lot of difference in how loud the 17 WSM and 22lr are comparing them unsuppressed, and a very noticeable difference between the 2 suppressed.

I don't shoot any subsonic rifle stuff.

What I was saying is you said 22LR sounds like a pellet gun. But supersonic 22LR still has the crack to it. Only subsonic is really quiet in 22LR.

No doubt there is more muzzle blast with the 17 but the suppressor takes it pretty well.

True, I guess I'm comparing to a real pellet gun, not a Daisy Red Rider.

                      Louder than you think.

My 22 bolt action with gemtech subsonics is probably quieter than a Daisy Red Rider. [emoji16]

22lr sub 22mag sub 223 sub 22-250 sub if they all the same weight and speed no advantage over 22lr just more money.

It is amazing the people that do not get this.
