can you park along the roads and walk in like tiente track or do you have to park at the entrance......will a 10' tripod help any? i was planning on spot and stalk and just take the tripod just in case i find a good opening....
is there any place to camp down there near the refuge?

yanta61 No u have to park at the gate and walk in. you are better off to hunt from the ground on a bucket/chair or spot and stalk. As far as a camp not sure let me check in to that for you and I'll let u know what i find.

just got off the phone with the lady at the refuge. they didn't receive my money order until the 5th so i was a day late and now forfeit my hunt. the weird thing is the lady said it was on a pile that didn't make it on time.....not sure why they don't send them back they all have the payment in them. so if you haven't received anything paperwork back yet, you might want to give them a call...
