Which video camera holder for quick filming?

I'm looking at either the trophytools clamp or the larger Gorillapod for attaching to a tree, bar, etc. for more on the fly filming. Something for when you don't have as much time to set up a camera arm to a tree for filming. Just wanted to see the feedback on the two. If one was better for supporting a camera than the other? I can see where both might have their advantages and disadvantages. Any insight would be helpful or if you have any other suggestions. Thanks.

I have the big Gorilla Pod, it is pretty sweet, but I don't ever film, so I don't ever use it anymore. Graduated to a big tripod and it works well
