Exotic hunt sub $1k?

My stepfather is about to have a birthday and my mother doesn't know what to get him. He does not bow hunt or wing shoot these days.

Any suggestions for a fun rifle hunt around DFW that would run less than $1,000 including fees? Preferably for something edible!

Rockwater Ranch in Rusk. Gun and Bow. Just started following them online and see great deals under $1000. Rams with unlimited hogs 2 day hunt everything (food, lodging, guide, cleaning) furnished $750.

We we are doing semi guided exotic doe hunts now. No meals but everything else furnished, cabin, skinning shed, cooler etc. You can get 2 axis does and a blackbuck doe for less than $1,000. Pmmefor info and dates.
