Ozonics that is....
Looking for feedback on those that have used them. Looking at giving it a try this season and it would be in a tree stand. |

I’ve only got one experience using an Ozonics, we were in a box blind, it made zero difference. As soon as a deer crossed our wind they were gone.

I have had great success with them. When they are set up correctly, they greatly increase your odds.

When used correctly AND under the right conditions they are 100% affective.. Windy days can be tricky..

My highest scoring buck to date was dead down wind for 14min at eye level before he came in. They’re not 100% effective but as mentioned when used correctly they definitely help enough to justify the cost.

How do you use them correctly? I was in a sealed box blind, with one window open, ozonics mounted above window blanketing scent exiting the window opening. If you can’t contain/cover it there, there’s no way it would ever work in a tree. |

I have been using one for many years love it would feel naked without it. I agree used property it will increase your odds of fooling an animals nose. It will not fool every animal every time but it will increase your odds. I still use Scentlok and pay attention to the wind.

I’m not disagreeing with any response on this thread, but I laughed, as my first thought was that if we used all the “tools” available today, we’d have to pull a wagon to our stand every time we went. 😁

How should it be most effectively used in a ground blind and also in a tree stand?

I've used ozone generators (not Ozonics brand) in popup blinds as well as in tree stands and had deer directly downwind of me without spooking. |

Just ordered the 300 direct from Ozonics. I went to their web page this morning and BAM!!! A special !!!Two extra batteries included!! That’s $140 !!!
So, I ordered the 300 and will have three batteries. Also added a extension arm to the order. Will be testing this rig in Kansas this year. Thanks for all the input!! |

Depending on what your set up is, this video might be helpful. This is how I set mine up on the Krivoman blinds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLws...ature=youtu.be

I added an Ozonics to my scent control regime last year as well. I’m not sure if it was the only factor for seeing more deer and having less bust me, but I know it helped and certainly helped my confidence to hunt questionable winds. That’s half the battle, having confidence in a setup you otherwise may not have hunted and seeing deer you woulda never seen.
Last year was my first year to really go “all out” on scent control. I’ve been using Ozone to kill scent on my gear for a few years now and really believe in it. So last year I was scentfree as possible from the scentfree shower, to wearing scentfree clothes on the ride to the land where I get dressed outside in my Scentlok clothes head to toe that have been Ozoned, and wear rubber boots that I spray the bottom of with a scent remover spray. Then I run an Ozonics in the stand with me too and wear the Scentlok facemask and gloves as well. I could 100% tell a difference in this new approach as to more deer seen and observing their behavior when they were downwind and how they’d catch a whiff of “something” but wouldn’t bother them and they’d continue on. That sold me for sure. It’s not bulletproof, but it’s an advantage and one I’m gonna continue to take... Added Krivoman blinds too so should be even more scent free.
