Got on the board this morning. 102lb doe.

2 doe came in at 730, both were mature. Shot the 1st and she ran to the woodline and dropped. The second doe ran a short ways, stood confused at 35 yds for a minute, then started back to feeder. Unfortunately she was spooked by something on the trailhead before giving up a shot. There was a moment where a double-up looked pretty likely.

I wish... it was checked in and weighted prior to being dressed.

I find i make less mess on the trailhead if I drag the deer in whole.

I can relate. I put up the stick and string the day after Thanksgiving to drop one with the smoke pole. Got the invite from a buddy to hunt his place in Milam county.

Now I need one with the stick and string. But dang the weather doesn't look good for Saturday. And i'm out of PTO until Christmas.

No not on the board, but is there some place I can bring a whole deer that will do all the work (skin, debone, make sausage, and package)?
