    Rylee Wins the Gold

    I was out of town, but following closely. We are very proud and she is very happy to be the State Champion in the High Jump and a new state record holder.

              Yes, zz, she is a freshmen and had a gift for the high jump. She said she wants to try other events next year. Of course, at a small school she will also be recruited for volleyball, basketball, and try to pole vault and hurdle. ZZ, I know your daughter was a great hurdler at LaPorte and I got to watch her run, so I appreciate your kind words.

                          She jumped 5'4", as did the girl from Blum, who will be running track for Tarleton next year.
