    Yildiz Shotguns?

Who has experience with these? I would love to own a side-by-side shotgun, but Yildiz seems to be one of the very few available for less than a grand. I understand that you get what you pay for, but are these guns as prone to problems as their price would suggest? Moreso than other cheap shotguns (Remington 870, etc)? Or is the price point more about fit and finish than reliability?

    Thanks all.

I have a 20 and I can miss birds like I do with all my other shotguns! It's a nice little gun really.

I had a 20ga SxS that was pretty nice. Less than $600 from Academy. Put 3-4 boxes of shells through it and never a problem.

I bought the 20 youth and love it. I did have an issue with it when I first bought it but I took it to Brilley’s and they fixed it for free. I’ve never had an issue since and I’ve put several cases through it.

They do kick more than anything in its class.

Only issue I see is recoil.

My son has the 410 and we have had ZERO issues with it, but I will say that it kicks a little more than the usual 410.

No side x side but the sons got o/u-single shot 410-autoloader, 0 zero problems with any of them, but the autoloader I haven't figured out how manual cycle yet.

Thanks all. I'm thinking about replacing my Remington 11-87 with one of these. It's heavy and won't cycle light loads.

I don’t own one but have shot a few

                              Recoil is brutal

Take a look at the Winchester 101

                              $999

A little more but much better shooter
