3/8 is what I used on the walls. I found some thicker stuff for the ceiling, but it wasn’t much thinker. Hard to tell the difference with the naked eye.

Used a few screws in the ceiling. All finish nails on the wall.

Runs around 43 degrees when it’s 100+ during the summer.
