    Ithaca 37 Featherweight 28ga

I have been offered a Ithaca M37 Featherweight 28 gauge shotgun for 800.00. Has 26 inch barrel with vent rib and screw in chokes. Its new with box and is blued. I want to buy it, but aint sure if I want to spend 800 on it.

    Is it worth it?

I had that gun but in a 12ga. It was the hardest kicking gun I have ever owned. The 28 should make it better but **** that 12ga hurt,

I would think you will have to order ammo but if that doesn’t bother you go for it.

I take that it’s a newer gun..since it has screw in chokes.... The base one is over $1100 plus tax....

Looks like a good price for a new in the box gun. The only issue, if you sell it you may have a hard time getting your money back. Ithacas don't have a big following.
