I agree...my dad is now my best friend, my confidant, the one I call on for advice, but until I hit my 20’s, he was the dumbest and meanest man I knew it’s amazing how smart he is now tho

Yep, now my dad is my best friend and hunting or er and favorite fishing buddy. Growing up it was not the case, and you’re right. Until I had a kid I had no idea how smart he was and how dumb I was!
