    Duck at my feeder

    This guy which I think is a whistler , has been at my feeder on and off no more so on . thought it odd , never seen ducks on the place not even in the large stock ponds .

    yep....Mexican Squealer....aka, black bellied whistling duck

    they are some corn eating s.o.b.'s!!!!!

          Never tried it, but many say they are good eating.......

          I'm not much for ducks that people swear taste good though.

                        Better get rid of him before he tells his buddies. Those whistling ducks will vacuum up corn in a hurry

                          I had a feeder in my back yard a few years back and would get several at a time but I live on the upper Trinity bay/marsh.

                            only seen this one , so far , pigs for what ever reason flat moved on . I have one big one coming in but that is it Glad for it ,
