Default Boerne snow axis down.

I have always wanted to arrow a deer in the snow. This morning was my chance. It really didnít matter what came out as I was gonna launch at something. First deer that gave my a shot happened to be an axis. Hope I live long enough to hunt Texas snow again.

Very nice Mike! I was thinking the same thing as I looked out my backyard here in Houston with my 3D deer covered in snow... I'd love to shoot and track an critter in the snow one day.

Nice hunting! Looks like your area got more snow than mine. We only got about 2-2.5" on the north side of town

Gotta admit it...I'm jealous. I was thinking as I was sitting in my office this am, the harvest photo today would be possibly once in a lifetime.

It was awesome. He went about 90 yards and I wished it was farther. Coolest thing I have done in Texas.

A lot of sits I see more axis than WT. It would be pretty hard for you to hunt a place near Boerne and not have tons of free roaming axis.
